Trash and Recycle Issues

Welcome to the Town of Cape Carteret, we are glad to have you here in our quaint town by the sound. As a new resident to Cape Carteret - if you are in need of a trash and recycle bin to be delivered to your home; please complete the information below. If you have moved into a home that already has trash and recycle bins, please utilize those receptacles.  If your trash and/or recycling was skipped over and not picked up - please complete the dropdown below for this issue.
If you are a current resident of the Town of Cape Carteret and your trash or recycle bins are broken, please complete the dropdown below.
Town staff will forward your information to our trash/recycle collection service company who the town contracts with. They will deliver the bins to your address, typically within a week of notification.

Please select the appropriate response from the dropdown menu. Once the completed form is received by town staff we will contact the contracted trash removal service provider about your issue. The contracted service provider will deliver the items to your address typically within a week of notification.
Please make sure that your trash and/or recycling bin is out at the roadside prior to 5:00 a.m. on the morning of pick up. Please note we must have your name, address and telephone number in order to place a work order with the contracted trash service provider.
